"Are we getting married here or in Michigan?" I asked him.
"If it's okay with you, I don't want a big church wedding. Our yard here is plenty big enough, bigger than the house in Michigan. I think we should have it here," he said and I agreed with him.
We set the date for October 1st which didn't give us much time. Annie was anxious to help with all the decorations. I called Katie and Rose and asked them to both be my matrons of honor. We called caterers, florists and DJ's. We had about six weeks to pull everything together so that didn't leave Brian and I a lot of alone time. No matter, we'd be alone plenty after we were married.
